C.Bechstein Quality Sound Design
The Berlin Grand sound was developed in collaboration with C. Bechstein.
Being one of the leading producers of premium pianos in the world, C.Bechstein pianos are a triumph to all who hear them.
Casio sought a clear, balanced and elegant sound for the Grand Hybrid and the mighty D.282, C. Bechstein’s was the perfect model to base this sound from.
Casio intensively studied this sound to achieve their goal of creating the best possible tone from a digtial piano. Mr. Albrecht, CTO and Master Piano Maker at C. Bechstein, visited Casio R&D to supervise the sound development process through the final modification.
