Expressive Sound
The Casio PX770 sound engine the AiR sound source delivers 22 beautiful instrument tones including a stunning stereo grand piano tone. The grand piano sound also features a damper resonance simulating the entire body of the instrument, not just the strings. In addition to the grand piano, you can choose sounds such as an electric piano, harpsichord, and strings.
This digital piano makes it very easy to layer these sounds together creating a rich tone from the two 8W + 8W built-in Speakers. There are two headphone connections allowing quiet playing alone or with a teacher.
Featuring a Concert Play function that has 10 recordings of your favorite classical pieces played by a real symphony orchestra. You can even play along with these pieces muting the piano part allowing you to hear your tone. As well as being a fun feature, the concert play really inspires you to improve your music reading skills and hone your abilities in playing along with a group.
Expressive Touch
Similar to acoustic pianos the PX 770 scaled hammer action has a weighted feel and expressive response supporting natural performances. The simulated ebony and ivory textures complete the experience for the authentic touch but benefit the musician through their smooth, comfortable feel that doesn't slip after a long performance.
The Privia's three sensitivity levels allow you to adjust the feel to your specific preference. The sensors behind the keys allowing you to repeat a note quickly without having to wait for the key to rise up to its top position. This is a feature most commonly found in more high-end pianos.
The keyboard can also be split to allow you to play bass in the left and one or two instruments in the right. For dueting the keyboard can be split down the middle in two equal pitches allowing for teacher and student to sit side by side.
The Compact, Slimline Space Saving Design
The PX 770's design is ideal for the modern home environment. With a full-size keyboard, the cabinet is slim and easy to store in bedrooms and living spaces. There's an attached music rest, ideal for holding your books, smartphone or tablet. there is also a stylish sliding keyboard cover keeping those keys clean and dust-free.
Connectivity
The Casio PX770 has features perfect for recording and practice with a built-in metronome that lets you adjust both the meter and tempo and a two-track MIDI recorder letting record a left or right-hand part separately or two different instruments layered together. You can connect this piano to any smart device or computer using its USB port with no drivers or installation required to use.
The Chordana app is a free piano app that connects to your Android and iOS device. The app is a fun and visual way of learning new pieces, guiding you through music score and piano roll notation you can check the next keys to be played all at your own pace. The apps more advanced features let you record your performances and explore different tones available.
