For Sale: Yamaha YE Series Upright – Polished Black

The Smarter Alternative to an Aging U-Series

We are thrilled to introduce the Yamaha YE Series, a range of pre-owned acoustic uprights that we are directly importing to offer our customers one of the smartest, highest-value propositions on the piano market today.

Many buyers looking for a serious acoustic piano naturally gravitate toward older, secondhand Yamaha U-series models. However, many used U1s and U3s on the market today were built in the 1970s or even the 1960s and are now 50 to 60 years old. The YE Series completely changes the equation: because these instruments were manufactured much more recently, they offer far newer internal components, fresher action felts, and decades more playable life than an aging U-series, all at a remarkably accessible price point.

Yamaha Pedigree: Built in the State-of-the-Art Hangzhou Facility

Although vastly newer than vintage pre-owned options, the YE Series boasts an impeccable manufacturing pedigree. These instruments were built in Yamaha’s state-of-the-art facility in Hangzhou—the very same world-class, climate-controlled plant that Yamaha selected to produce their modern B-series line.

Having personally visited Yamaha's production facilities, we know firsthand that this plant operates under the same rigorous Japanese quality control, precision CNC engineering, and high-grade material standards as their flagship factories. With a YE Series instrument, structural longevity and tuning stability are completely assured.

Full Professional Scale: Equivalent to a B3 or B30

This particular YE Series model is the flagship, tallest upright in the range. Standing at a full professional height, its cabinet scale is similar in size and internal volume to a Yamaha B3, B30, or U1.

• Rich, Orchestral Voice: The tall cabinet allows for long bass strings and a expansive solid spruce soundboard, delivering a deep, authoritative bass response and a sparkling, singing treble that smaller compact pianos simply cannot match.

• Stunning Cabinetry: Unlike purely functional studio uprights, the YE Series features an exceptionally handsome, modern cabinet design with refined lines and high-gloss polish that makes it look as breathtaking as it sounds.

• The Ideal Upgrade: If you are upgrading from a digital piano or an entry-level starter instrument, the YE Series offers an authentic acoustic touch and real string resonance without the risk or wear and tear associated with 50-year-old secondhand imports.

The Millers Preparation & 5-Year Warranty

Because these instruments are direct importsselected by our team, every YE Series piano undergoes a comprehensive Workshop Preparation before reaching our showroom floor:

• Complete Action Regulation: Our senior technicians adjust and align the action to ensure a crisp, fast, and uniform touch across all 88 keys.

• Acoustic Voicing & Tuning: The piano is pulled to concert pitch (A440Hz) and voiced for a balanced, expressive tonal profile.

• Millers 5-Year Warranty: To reflect our confidence in these newer instruments, every YE Series piano is backed by our comprehensive 5-year technical warranty covering all parts and labor.
