The latest addition to the Kawai Concert Artist Range and the entry level to the series, the CA401 is the successor to the incredibly popular CA49 digital piano and is better than ever.
Keeping hold of all that made the CA49 such a success, the CA401 also features the same signature Grand Feel Compact wooden-key keyboard action, while incorporating the new SK-EX Competition Grand piano sound, reproduced using Progressive Harmonic Imaging sound technology.
This latest recreation of the flagship Shigeru Kawai piano uses all new sample data, specifically recorded from the player’s perspective, and is characterised by a bright and clear sound with a distinctive attack. Complementing this stunning new piano
sound, the CA401 also utilises an improved AC power adapter, which helps to ensure a smoother, clearer sound through both speakers and headphones compared to previous generation models.
The Perfect Piano For Your Home
The CA401 possesses an updated cabinet design that is ideally suited to the modern home, adopting a taller body and rounded edge details of the larger Concert Artist models, for a more impressive, premium experience. The addition of a highly sophisticated and updated modern OLED graphic display allows for easy operation and customisation of your sound whilst not distracting from your play.
Kawai have taken this one step further too with improved pedal positioning and music score pins, which can be raised to hold the pages of thicker notated scores securely in place.
Pair Anytime With Enhanced Bluetooth Audio Connectivity
In addition to Bluetooth MIDI, the CA401 now also includes Bluetooth Audio connectivity, allowing audio from smart devices to be played through the instrument’s speakers wirelessly. Both Bluetooth components adopt the latest v5 standard, providing ultra-low latency, improved reliability, and superior sound quality when paired with the latest devices.
